Paper Street Theatre

Applications are now open!

The Paper Street Theatre Improv festival is a week-long festival of innovative theatre. Our festival ensemble will be asked to help us push the boundaries of what improv can be, choose beauty over comedy, and of course, create improvisation that feels like theatre.

Successful applicants will receive five days of instruction from our festival directors (Including Dave Morris, Stephen Sim, and Caity Curtis) and will perform a different format each evening of the festival. Plus late-night shows, social events, and more.

There's no application fee and no workshop fees. If you aren’t from Victoria we will find you a billet with a Victorian improviser. If you are from Victoria, we might ask you to let someone stay on your couch.

Applicants are required to be in Victoria BC, from 10am-10pm from April 20th-25th. No exceptions will be made.
