Teaching at MIT!

Professional Development

The skills of improvisation are the same skills that make great people! Leadership, team work, public speaking, ideation, creative problem solving – these are all incredibly valuable skills no matter the workplace, no matter the team! Paper Street Theatre is now offering workshops for professionals looking to work on the skills of improvisation without the need to step on stage.

See below for our current offerings!

Professional Development

Improv for Public Speaking

Speaking on your Feet!

Want to be ready for that presentation at work? Need to pitch your product to investors? Hone your public speaking skills through this intensive workshop designed to increase your confidence.

Through a series of on-your-feet exercises you’ll learn to be more comfortable on stage, find your personal approach to speaking and connect with your audience. You’ll also learn how to handle mistakes with grace and how to ‘go-off-book’ through the power of improvisation.

This workshop also includes a 1 hour one-on-one follow up appointment (in person or via Zoom).

Improv for Creativity

Thinking Differently

Before you can be creative, you have to think creative.

This two-day workshop is focused on one simple idea: Thinking differently. Improvisation is the art of being spontaneous, thinking on your feet, and discovering new and original ideas. All of those start with the simple act of thinking differently. If you are looking to be more innovative, creative, or if you simply want to shake yourself out of your everyday routine, this workshop is for you.
