Back by popular demand Murder on Paper Street brings an improvised Agatha Christie to the greatest possible venue for a murder mystery in all of Victoria, Craigdarroch Castle!
Our Artistic Director Dave Morris is bringing to life the holiday classic A Christmas Carol, (with some help from you!) at Intrepid Theatre, Paper Street Theatre's home venue for over 15 years.
And finally, In Love with Shakespeare, brings romance, poetry, and improvisation to Victoria's most beloved book store, Munro's Books.
This season, join Paper Street Theatre as we celebrate the spaces and people that make Victoria our favourite place to create theatre.
2026-2027 Season
Murder on Paper Street
An improvised mystery, in a real-life castle!
When a body turns up at Craigdarroch Castle it's up to a vintage cast of colourful cliché characters to discover who did it, how it was done, and who's next. Inspired by one of the best-selling authors of all time, Agatha Christie, this fully improvised mystery will have you on the edge of your tweed-covered seat until the final reveal.

A Christmas Carol
Everyone knows the story: Scrooge, three ghosts, one long Christmas Eve.
This December join Dave Morris as he improvises his way through one of the most classic Christmas stories of all time: Charles Dickens a Christmas Carol. He’ll play all the characters you love, say all the lines you remember, and together we’ll make up the rest.
One performer. Three ghosts. Endless possibilities.

In Love with Shakespeare
Shall I compare thee to a summer’s day, or perhaps a winter’s evening? This Valentine season, join Paper Street Theatre in an exploration of language, literature, and love in one of Victoria’s most beloved book stores.
Munro’s Books is the setting for this improvised Shakespeare show focused on poetry! We’ll recite some sonnets you know, make up some of our own, and create a love story worthy of the bard.
Paper Street Theatre is In Love with Shakespeare, and you will be too.
