Season 11

The Finer Things in Life

Paper Street Theatre's 11th season of completely improvised theatre is here! This season is dedicated to the finer things in life: poetry, music, and myth. In The Glass Bell we'll be using the poetry of Sylvia Plath to explore the lives of women. In The Piano Man, we'll be improvising songs, and stories, that explore the life of a Piano Man (played by our very own Dave Morris). And in MYTHOS we'll be creating our very own mythology every night, complete with monsters, gods, and heroes.

Improvisation can be so much more than just comedy, and this season, we're really diving into beauty, metaphor, music, and stories. In short: The finer things in life.

Using her actual writing as inspiration, Paper Street Theatre will illuminate the inner lives of women through a completely improvised play. This show will examine universal human themes of loneliness, longing, and the trap of modern life.
