Paper Street Theatre

Inspired by The Moth storytelling series, Like a Moth is an honest storytelling show with a twist: none of the stories are true. Each night, Paper Street Theatre’s ensemble sets out to create fictional true stories—intimate, heartfelt, yet entirely improvised. You’ll hear confessions that never happened, lessons that were never learned, and memories that were never lived – Sometimes funny, sometimes poignant, but always surprising. Like a Moth blurs the line between truth and imagination, inviting you into a world where every story feels real… even though it’s not.

Paper Street Theatre presents a completely improvised play based on a book they’ve never read. Using only the title and a short description, our cast of improvisers will bring a book to life, filling in the blanks with rich characters, meaningful moments, and unexpected twists! Adaptation is a celebration of all the stories we haven’t read yet.
